    Donald M. Bergner, M.D., FACS, FAAPbergner

    Donald M. Bergner, MD, FACS, FAAP, is a board certified urologist practicing in Pinellas County since 1981. He graduated from Bowman Gray School of Medicine-Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and completed his surgical and urology training at University Hospital of Jacksonville, Florida, and Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has additional training in pediatric urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and is licensed by the State of Florida Board of Medicine.

    Since 1981, Dr. Bergner has served on numerous local committees including President and Chairman for The Mease Clinic, the Mease Foundation Board of Directors, Board of Governors for the Pinellas County Medical Society, Medical Advisory Board of the Bay Area Renal Stone center, Chief of Urology at Mease Hospital, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Department of Surgery. He has also been a consultant for the V.A. Hospital and Children's Medical Services, has multiple journal publications, and has been a prinicipal investigator for more than fifty pharmaceutical drug studies involving the prostate, erectile dysfunction, and incontinence. Active member, American Urological Association, Southeastern Section of AUA, Florida Urologic Society, Southern Medical Association, Pinellas County Medical Society, Florida Medical Association.
